Wishing everyone in all the different global time zones, a very Happy, Healthy, and Prosperous New Year!!

Before you spend any money on PSP, PSE, PS CS, and would like to try your hand at creating digital art, why not start with SUMO Paint. Sumo is one of the new "Web 2.0" web based applications. It's a very close clone to Photoshop but without the built in bloat. It's being touted as the most advanced online image editing software around and it's not just for correcting "red eye". It actually has an easy-to-learn interface and Photoshop users will love the familiarity of it. Be sure your browser is up to date with Adobe Flash as SUMO is a Flash based application, meaning it will open in your browser. I have personally tested SUMO Paint in Opera v. 9.52, Internet Explorer v. 7.0, and Firefox v. 3.03 and it worked without a hitch. Nothing to download and install and it's FREE!

I am a big fan of Heritage Scrapbooking and I found one of the most talented ladies named Annie! Actually DigiFree had listed both of her freebie QP's the other day and I was an immediate FAN! So much so, that her blog is now on my reader, over there on the right > >
Both are enchanting and lovely in their construction. Thank you so much Annie for both of these extraordinary QP's! I LOVE your style!
You'll find this freebie I created over at ScrapStreet.com. I'm not trying to send ya'all on a hunting expedition (lol) instead I'd like for you to tap around on our blog at Scrap Street and discover loads of interesting Digital and Hybrid Scrapping information. You may even find other freebies....

I am finding myself more and more at The Chicken Coop. It's the first place I go to find out which stores are having sales because who doesn't love a bargain? Mrs. Chicken (I apologize for not knowing her name!) makes this very convenient indeed. She has brought our community a much needed touchstone! The site is super easy to navigate and overflowing with interesting bits pertaining to the Digital Scrap community such as Challenges and Freebies.
